Bathrooms Built for Sherman Oaks Homes

Sherman Oaks has two very different sides. North of Ventura Boulevard, the flats are filled with 1940s and 1950s traditional and ranch homes on tree-lined streets. South of the boulevard, the hillside streets climbing toward Mulholland Drive hold mid-century and modern homes with views across the Valley. Add the condos along Ventura and near the Galleria, and the range is wide.

Each type needs its own approach to bathroom remodeling Sherman Oaks homeowners can rely on. Older flats homes often need new supply lines, updated wiring and a real exhaust fan. Hillside homes can have tight access, sloped lots and extra structural review. Condos bring HOA rules and shared plumbing. We plan for all of it and install a full waterproofing system before any tile goes up.

Popular Bathroom Upgrades in Sherman Oaks

These are the bathroom remodeling Sherman Oaks requests we hear most often:

Spa-style primary suites: freestanding tubs, steam showers and heated floors.
Curbless walk-in showers: linear drains, benches and frameless glass.
View-friendly layouts: large windows and placement that makes the most of hillside views.
Condo upgrades: compact, modern layouts with smart storage.
Natural materials: stone, white oak and warm, calm palettes.
Universal design: grab bars, wider entries and slip-resistant floors.

Permits and Codes in Sherman Oaks

Sherman Oaks is part of the City of Los Angeles, so permits come through the Los Angeles Department of Building and Safety (LADBS). Most bathroom remodeling Sherman Oaks projects that move plumbing, change electrical or alter walls need one, and hillside homes south of Ventura can face added review.

We prepare the plans, file the application and schedule every inspection. For condos, we also gather any HOA approvals before work starts.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We have done two major home renovations with Nathan and his team over the last few years. They are great to work with: very professional and responsive, so when we wanted to remodel our kitchen, we trusted them with the project. They completed the work quicker than the estimated time frame and within budget. We could not be happier with the outcome and we're already planning future projects with his team. We strongly recommend KN Remodeling for any home projects you may have!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. KN Remodeling did a fantastic job on a complete remodel of our kitchen-from planning to completion, the job was seamless, on time and budget, and we are delighted with the results. Nathan had very helpful suggestions and an aesthetic eye for detail. His crew was professional, reliable, meticulous in their work, and a pleasure to have around. The entire team was courteous and very respectful of our living area and left our space tidy at the end of each work day. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again or to recommend them to family and friends. We feel lucky to have found them.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We took A LOT of quotes on our kitchen refresh, and Nathan was the only one who wasn't pushy or threw out high-pressure sales pitches.

He listened to our concerns and approached them realistically and offered options that were doable, and not empty promises.

His work teams were very professional, worked diligently, and were never rude. They took as much care of our house as we would. Even when we pointed out certain imperfections and mistakes they were quick to fix and patch up. Our kitchen was done way sooner than we had anticipated, so that's always a plus.

One of the things I really liked about Nathan was that he was always a phone call away and he was very attentive to our concerns. He never dismissed us or ignored us. He cared and he never let us down. We've had experiences with other companies that have been less than favorable, and what we disliked the most was being ignored when we noticed imperfections in their work.

Even today, as the kitchen is finished and Nathan came over to do final checks, we noticed our drawer hardware was rusty (it was a refresh and not a remodel), and Nathan offered to send someone over to install new ones free of charge.

I would wholeheartedly recommend this company, and especially Nathan, who I found to be an honorable contractor.

Highly recommend.
